Leicester City can move another step closer to a historic Premier League title at the King Power Stadium this weekend, but Europe-chasing Southampton may have other ideas.

Foxes historic title bid still on track

Leicester City are so close to the Premier League title, they can almost touch it. But despite the luxury of a five-point cushion over rivals Tottenham Hotspur, there is still plenty of work to do. The Foxes have not been beaten at home since September and have only lost one league match in 2016.

They come into this game on the back of a 1-0 win away to Crystal Palace. That was the fourth 1-0 victory in five games for the East Midlands side. They have scored at least one goal in each of their last 11 games.

Saints buoyed by comeback against Liverpool

Southampton reignited their European qualification hopes by staging a second-half comeback against Liverpool in their last league match. The Saints were trailing the Reds by a 2-0 score-line at half-time but went on to win the game and claim all three points. That victory lifted them to seventh place in the table and leaves them just three points shy of the first European qualification spot.

Ronald Koeman`s men have won three of their last five away trips, having beaten Stoke City, Swansea City and Manchester United on the road.

Team news

Matthew James will be missing for the home side, while Andy King will be doubtful. Meanwhile, the visitors will have to make do without Ryan Bertrand and Florin Gardos.
