Crystal Palace vs Tottenham Hotspur - Premier League preview and odds
April 26, 2017 20:00pm - Selhurst Park
Premier League
Crystal Palace can all but seal their Premier League status with a home win over Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night. The visitors themselves will be looking for a win to maintain pressure on league leaders Chelsea in the title race.
Two teams sides with plenty still to play for go head-to-head
Sam Allardyce looks to be on course to complete yet another Premier League great escape but his team are not quite over the line yet. Crystal Palace looked doomed at the start of the year but have since rallied to lift themselves out of the drop zone and up to 12th in the table. They come into this game on the back of a confidence-boosting 2-1 win away to Liverpool.
On home soil, the Eagles are unbeaten in four, having won three in a row before drawing 2-2 against Leicester City last time out.
Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur will arrive here on the back of a disappointing 4-2 FA Cup semi-final defeat to Chelsea at Wembley on Saturday. Prior to that loss, Spurs were in great form, having won seven Premier League matches in a row.
Away from home, they have own their last two in a row (at Burnley and Swansea City) but drew twice (at Manchester City and Sunderland) and lost once (at Liverpool) prior to that.
Mauricio Pochettino`s men need all three points to maintain the pressure on pace-setters Chelsea who are currently seven points clear at the top of the table having played a game more.
Team news
James Tomkins (ankle), Scott Dann (knee), Connor Wickham (knee ligament), Pape Souare (surgery) and Loic Remy (not fit) are all out of action for the home side.
Meanwhile, Michel Vorm (knee) Harry Winks (ankle), Erik Lamela (groin) and Danny Rose (knee) make up the visitors list of absentees..

Betting odds and tips
Crystal Palace have scored in each of their last 8 matches and come into this game in great form having lost just one of their last eight.
Meanwhile, Spurs are undefeated in their last seven matches and scored at least one goal in each of those games.
As a result, the score draw looks like a good bet in this game.
You can back the Draw and Both Teams to Score at 9/2 with Bet365.
