Bayern Munich will be looking for their second consecutive win of their pre-season campaign when they take on Italian side Inter in the International Champions Cup on Thursday.

The Germans had a poor start to their campaign falling to Arsenal and Milan before bouncing back with a big win over English champions Chelsea. Two goals from Thomas Muller and another from Rafinha in the first half hour all but wrapped the game up early on, although a late surge from Chelsea did make the last five minutes a little more interesting.

The Bundesliga champs should not be too bothered by their slow start to the pre-season campaign but will want to build some momentum ahead of their German Super Cup clash with Borussia Dortmund in just over a week. Before then, they will also face Liverpool in the Audi Cup at the Allianz Arena.

New signings James Rodriguez and Corentin Tolisso are expected to feature but Niklas Sule has not travelled due to his involvement at the Confederations Cup.

Meanwhile, Internazionale got off to a winning start in their International Champions Cup campaign, beating Lyon 1-0 courtesy of a late Stevan Jovetic strike. They had looked a bit shaky in the previous three games but now seem to be adjusting to life under Luciano Spaletti. With games against Chelsea, Villarreal and Real Betis still to come, they should have plenty of time to get themselves in shape ahead of their competitive campaign that kicks off in August.

Newly signed centre-back Milan Skriniar could feature here along with striker Facundo Colidio and midfielder Borja Valero.
