Premier League
Swansea City will continue their quest for a first Premier League win since the opening day of the season when they face a Crystal Palace side themselves seeking to end a run of five straight defeats. The action will take place at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
No wins in last 11 matches for hapless Swans
Having fought hard for a 1-1 draw away to Everton last week, Swansea City may feel that they are on the verge of turning a corner. However, if they don`t start picking up wins soon, the gap to safety at the bottom of the table will start to resemble a chasm.
Despite a change of management, the Swans have slipped steadily to the foot of the table and are now five points adrift of 17th-ranked West Ham United. Even with a win this weekend, a rise of one place is the best that Bob Bradleys men can hope for should rivals Sunderland fail to take anything away from their trip to Anfield.
The Welsh club have yet to record a win at home this season, so victory would provide a much needed morale boost for the fans as well as the players.
Meanwhle, Crystal Palace have hit a dire patch of form and will be trying to avoid a sixth-straight defeat on Saturday. Alan Pardews men have managed to score in each of their last five away games but have not recorded a win since September.
The Eagles come into this match on the back of a 1-2 home defeat to title contenders Manchester City in which they performed well but were ultimately outclassed by the opposition. Prior to that, they fell 3-2 away to newly-promoted Burnley. Four of their last five away games have produced more than 2.5 goals.
Team news
The home side will be without Ki Sung-yeung (toe), while Leon Britton and Jefferson Montero could both return.
Meanwhile, the visitors will hand a late fitness test to Joe Ledley but will definitely be without Loic Remy (calf), Steve Mandanda (knee), Jonathan Benteke (knee) and Pape Soure (leg).

Crystal Palace: LLLLL
Betting odds and tips
Swansea City have failed to win any of their last 11 matches (including six at home) and have conceded two goals or more in all but one of their home matches.
Crystal Palace have lost their last five matches in a row and are winless in six. They have conceded at least one goal in every game they have played this term, home and away. But on a positive note, they have scored at least one goal in all but one of their away games including their last five in a row.
