Premier League preview and odds: West Bromwich Albion vs West Ham United
April 30 , 2016 15:00pm - The Hawthorns
Premier League
West Bromwich Albion still have an outside chance of grabbing a top 10 finish in the league, while this weekend`s opponents West Ham United have their eye on a European qualification place.
Baggies still giving their all
West Bromwich Albion proved in last Monday`s 1-1 draw at Tottenham Hotspur that they are still taking each Premier League game seriously. With millions of pounds at stake for each league position, boss Tony Pulis will be pushing his players to finish as high up the table as possible.
The Baggies have not won any of their last six Premier League games, and have lost their last two matches on home soil by just a single goal. However, despite, their lack of victories, they have put in some good displays against tough opposition including Manchester City and Spurs.
West Ham face battle for Euro place
West Ham United have four games left to overhaul Manchester United and grab fifth place in the Premier League table. However, they will also have to keep one eye over their shoulder as Liverpool sit just a point back ready to pounce.
The Hammers are unbeaten in their last nine Premier League matches, having won four and drawn five. They have now equalled Everton`s league-leading tally of 14 drawn games. Away from home they have drawn three of the last four games 2-2, with the only exception being a 3-2 win at Everton. Their last six fixtures have all finished with a total of four goals or more.
Team news
The Baggies are still without the injured trio of Alex Pritchard, Chris Brunt and James Morrison. Meanwhile, Slaven Bilic has the luxury of virtually a fully-fit squad to choose from with Carl Jenkinson the only likely absentee.
