Paris Saint-Germain vs Bayern Munich - Champions League Group Stage
September 27, 2017 19:45pm - Parc des Princes
Champions League Group Stage
In one of the standout ties of Wednesday`s Champions League group stage matches French giants Paris Saint-Germain will take on reigning Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich at the Parc des Princes.
PSG have been dominant in the Ligue 1 this term but come into this game on the back of a draw away to Montpellier, their first dropped points of the season. World record signing Neymar was missing from that game after suffering from a foot injury but is expected to return here. Hopefully, he and Edison Cavani have settled their differences after squabbling over who should take a penalty in the game against Lyon.
Both players should take to the field on Wednesday and will be hoping to take advantage of a Bayern Munich side that have not looked entirely convincing this campaign. In contrast, the French side have been in devastating form, winning eight of their nine matches and drawing the other. They kicked off this campaign with a 5-0 win away to Celtic.
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich will be hoping that Robert Lewandowski can continue his fine form, having already bagged seven goals in six league games to follow on from the 30 he netted last term.
However, Calro Ancelotti may be slightly concerned as to how the rest of the team has been performing, particularly in defence. They have already been beaten by Hoffenheim this term and let a two goal lead slip against Wolfsburg last time out. As things stand, they are third in the domestic league table with six games played.

Betting odds and tips
Bayern have lost four, drawn two and won just two of their last eight away trips in this competition. WhatÂ’s more, they will be without Captain Manuel Neuer, David Alaba, Thiago, and Arjen Robben for this game.
Meanwhile, PSG have lost just one of their last 24 Champions League home games, a 2015 defeat to Barcelona. As a result, the 21/20 available for the home win looks like good value.
In addition, punters might want to consider backing Neymar or Lewandowski in the anytime goal scorer market. With both fancied to get on the scoresheet, the Both Teams to Score bet may also come into play.
You can back the Home Win at 21/20 and Both Teams to Score at 2/5 with Bet365.
