Premier League preview and odds: Crystal Palace vs Swansea
December 28, 2015 15:00pm - Selhurst Park
Premier League
Crystal Palace will be looking to increase their unbeaten run to six games on Monday when they host a Swansea side who bagged their first Premier League win in eight games last time out.
Palace in season-best form
Crystal Palace extended their unbeaten run to five games with a draw at Bournemouth on Boxing Day. The have now lost just one of their last eight games in the Barclays Premier. The stalemate leaves them in fifth place in the table just eight points adrift of league leaders Leicester City.
After starting the season with a poor home record of just two wins in their first seven games, the Eagles have now won two home games on the trot and will be looking to extend that to three against a Swansea side that is still hovering near the relegation zone.
Swansea unbeaten in two under Curtis
Caretaker boss Alan Curtis will attempt to avoid defeat for the third game in succession when he side travels east to London on Monday. After halting a winless run of seven games at home to West Bromwich Albion on Boxing Day, the Swans finally have reason to be optimistic.
The Welsh side have secured four points without conceding in their last two games and, as a result, they have risen to 16th place in the table. A win at Palace could lift them even closer towards the comfort of mid-table.
Team news
Palace will have to manage without Connor Wickham, Yannick Bolasie, Dwight Gayle, Bakary Sako and Kwesi Appiah, while Scott Dann and Damien Delaney are expected to recover from knocks.
Meanwhile, Swansea will continue without the services of Franck Tabanou and Eder.

Betting odds and tips
Swansea have shown some improvement recently but they have lost five of their last six on the road, with their only away win of the season coming back in October against a hapless Aston Villa side.
The home side have won their last two home games and have conceded just two goals in their last four on home soil. They can be backed at 11/10 to overcome their visitors on Monday.
