Burnley vs Manchester City - Premier League Preview and Odds
April 28, 2019 14:05pm - Turf Moor (Burnley)
Premier League
Burnley will have the support of Liverpool`s global fan base behind them when they host Manchester City at Turf Moor on Sunday afternoon.
Every season the Clarets have been in the Premier League, they have beaten the reigning champions at least once including a 1-0 home win over Manchester City in the 2014/15 season - a stat that the Reds will be clinging on to as they tune in on Sunday.
Burnley have been in top six form since the start of the year and have risen from being in grave danger of relegation to safety with games to spare. They are unbeaten in their last four Premier League matches and have only lost four of their last 16 overall.
In their last eight matches at home, Sean Dyche`s men have won five, drawn one and lost just two. They held City to a 1-1 draw in this fixture last year but have been beaten 5-0 by them twice since then.
Meanwhile, Manchester City will look to return to the top of the Premier League table with a win over the 15th-ranked team following Liverpools 5-0 demolition of Huddersfield Town on Friday night.
Pep Guardiola`s men have won their last 11 games in a row since the 2-1 defeat at Newcastle in January. If they win their last three games they will retain their Premier League crown. They have only dropped points in five away games this season and have won on their last five road trips.

Betting odds and tips
Burnley boss Sean Dyche will relish the opportunity to influence the title race and kick-off on the back of a hard-fought 2-2 draw at Chelsea. Despite Citys incredible form, a shock result should not be ruled out here. If the home side can shut out the visitors in the first half, City might start to feel the pressure and the Clarets will look for any opportunity to strike on the counter-attack.
The visitors are odds-on favourites but there is little value in backing them. Besides, the Burnley/Draw Double Chance looks great value at 9/2 and is worth a speculative punt in a match that is short of decent value betting options.
You can back Burnley/Draw Double Chance at 9/2.
