Premier League preview and odds: Norwich City vs Chelsea
March 01, 2016 19:45pm - Carrow Road
Premier League
Norwich City will try to halt their steady slide down the Premier League table on Tuesday night when they host a Chelsea side who are still unbeaten under new boss Guus Hiddink.
Desperate situation for Norwich
A run of seven Premier League game without a win has left Norwich City just one place above the drop zone in 17th place, with 11 games left to play. Only goal difference is keeping them above 18th-ranked Newcastle - however, the northeast club have a valuable game in hand.
Anything other than a win on Tuesday night could see Alex Neil`s men slip into the bottom three if Sunderland win against Crystal Palace. Incidentally, Palace are the only club with worse form than Norwich over the last 10 games.
The Canaries come into this match on the back of a 1-0 defeat away to top-of-the-table Leicester City.
Chelsea on the rise again
Chelsea are now unbeaten in 11 games, 10 of which have been under the guidance of temporary Coach Guus Hiddink. The Dutchman has certainly steadied the ship after the chaos that reigned towards the end of Jose Mourinho`s second spell at the club.
The Blues have won four and drawn six of their last 10 games, with three of those wins coming in the last five matches. Away from home, they have won three of their last four matches. As result, they have risen to 11th place in the table and could break back into the top 10 with a win at Norwich.
Last time out, the Londoners condemned Southampton to their first defeat in six matches with a 2-1 win at St. Mary`s Stadium. Only Southampton and Tottenham has amassed more points over the last 10 games than Chelsea.
Team news
The home side will be without Andre Wisdom who is suffering from a knee problem.
Meanwhile, the visitors will have to make do without Pedro, Zouma and Falcao, while John Terry remains a doubt.
