Stoke City vs West Ham United - Premier League preview and odds
April 29, 2017 15:00pm - Bet365 Stadium
Premier League
Two teams still not mathematically safe from relegation will go head-to-head this weekend as 11th-ranked Stoke City take on 14th-ranked West Ham United at the Bet265 Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Safety still not confirmed for either side
With five defeats in their last six games, Stoke City may struggle to match their usual ninth-place finish. In fact, with just 39 points on the board, they have yet to achieve mathematical safety in the Premier League.
The Potters fell to a disappointing 2-0 defeat at the hands of Swansea City last time out, their fifth defeat in the last six matches. Despite their poor run they have remained fixed in the mid-table positions but could drop sharply if they lose and other results do not go their way.
Meanwhile, West Ham United are just one point ahead of Leicester City having played one game more. The Hammers have bounced back from a five-game losing and are now unbeaten in three, having beaten Swansea City at home before drawing away to Sunderland and at home to Everton.
Slaven Bilic`s men have not won any of their last five away matches and have conceded two or more goals in each of their last four on the road.

Betting odds and tips
West Ham`s matches have invariably featured plenty of goals in recent weeks, especially on the road where six of their last seven have paid out in the over 2.5 goals market. Likewise, Stoke City`s last three home games have all featured at least three goals and they have found the net in each of their last nine encounters.
You can back Over 2.5 Goals at 17/20 with Bet365.
