West Bromwich Albion vs Leicester City - Premier League preview and odds
April 29, 2017 15:00pm - The Hawthorns
Premier League
Leicester City will look to grab the three points they need to secure their Premier League status when they face Craig Shakespeare`s old club at the Hawthorns this weekend. The hosts themselves will continue to defend their eighth-place ranking from challengers Southampton.
Champions out to avoid relegation embarrassment
Craig Shakespeare made over 100 appearances for West Bromwich Albion and also worked behind the scenes as academy and reserve team coach. He now returns as boss of reigning Premier League champions Leicester City with the spectre of relegation still not fully removed.
The Foxes are winless in three league matches coming into this game all of which were played away from home. So far this season, they have only won one match on the road, a 3-2 win at West Ham United back in March.
Meanwhile, West Bromwich Albion still have their eye on an eighth-place finish with Southampton their most likely challengers for the best-of-the-rest spot. In order to keep themselves on track for that target, Tony Pulis` men will look to break a three-game losing streak that included at 0-1 home defeat to Liverpool last weekend.
On home soil, the Baggies have lost three of their last four, their only win coming against Arsenal last month (3-1). That was also their last win in the current campaign.

Betting odds and tips
West Bromwich have failed to score in each of their last four matches and have conceded at least one goal in each of their last five home matches.
Leicester City conceded at least one goal in all but of their away matches so the Baggies may get a chance to break their scoreless run. As a result, both teams can be expected to score in this match.
