Premier League preview and odds: Crystal Palace vs Liverpool
October 29, 2016 17:30pm - Selhurst Park
Premier League
Mid-table dwellers Crystal Palace will look to a break a three-game winless streak when they welcome third-ranked Liverpool to Selhurst Park in Saturdays late kick-off game.
Just one win at home this season for Palace
After a run of three Premier League matches without a win, including back-to-back defeats at home to West Ham United and away to Leicester City, Crystal Palace have slipped back into the bottom half of the Premier League table.
Prior to that run, the Eagles had won three on the trot and were looking up the table towards the European places. However, this kind of up-and-down form will be familiar to Palace fans who saw their team reach the top five last Christmas before flirting with the relegation places in May.
Alan Pardew`s men have conceded at least one goal in every game they have played this season, and just four of their 11 points have been earned at home. Whats more, they have conceded first in seven of their nine games.
Meanwhile, opponents Liverpool are enjoying an unbeaten run that stretches back 10 games in all competitions. In the Premier League, they are unbeaten in seven and are level on points with Manchester City and Arsenal at the top of the table.
The Reds only defeat this term came away to Burnley back in August, and they come into this game on the back of a pair of 2-1 wins over West Bromwich Albion in the league and Tottenham Hotspur in the EFL Cup.
Jurgen Klopp`s men have yet to keep a clean sheet on the road and six of their nine games have produced over 2.5 goals. They have led at halftime in five of their league matches this term and went on to win all of them.
Team news
The home side could welcome back Jason Puncheon and Scott Dann to the first team squad. However, Jonathan Benteke, Pape Soure and Loic Remy will all miss out.
Meanwhile, Liverpool will perform late assessments on Divock Origi and James Milner, while Sheyi Ojo and Joe Gomez are both still undergoing treatment.

Betting odds and tips
Liverpool have been in great form at home and away and have all their key players available. However, they have failed to keep single clean sheet on the road this season.
Palace have conceded in every game they have played so there is a high probability that both teams will score at some point in this match.
The visitors have scored at least two goals in five of their last six league matches and their attacking prowess should see them through once again against the wobbling Eagles.
