Premier League preview and odds: Everton vs West Ham United

Premier League
European hopefuls Everton will look to end a four-game winless streak when they welcome and improving West Ham United side to Goodison Park on Sunday.
Six weeks without a win for Everton
After a bright start to the season, top six hopefuls Everton have suffered a slight wobble and now find themselves looking for their first win in five games in all competitions. While it is far too early to panic, there may be a slight cause for concern should the Toffees fail to take anything from this weekend`s game. The good news, however, is that they have yet to be defeated on home soil this term.
Ronald Koeman`s men have scored at least one goal in all of their home games this season. However, they have only kept one clean sheet in four attempts. In their last game at Goodison Park, they were held to a 1-1 draw by Crystal Palace.
The Merseyside team come into this game on the back of a 2-1 defeat away to newly-promoted Burnley. Their last victory was 3-1 home triumph over Middlesbrough six weeks ago.
Meanwhile, West Ham United are enjoying a mini-revival after a terrible start to the season left them languishing near the relegation zone. The Hammers lost five of their first six games but have since drawn one and won two to lift themselves back up to 15th place in the table. However, after last seasons heroic campaign, further improvement will be expected.
Slaven Bilic`s men have scored in every away match so far and finally bagged their first win on the road when they defeated Crystal Palace 1-0 a fortnight ago. They followed that with a home win over bottom-of-the-pile Sunderland.
Team news
The home side will be hoping that Leighton Baines recovers from a hamstring problem in time for this clash, while James McCarthy, Muhamed Besic, Matthew Pennington and Tyias Browning will all miss out.
Meanwhile, the visitors will have to make do without the services of Gokhan Tore (thigh), Sam Byram (hamstring), Arthur, Masuaka (knee), Andy Carroll (knee) and Diafra Sakho (back).

Betting odds and tips
West Ham United seem to be finding some form after a dismal start and will be hoping to extend their unbeaten run to four games. If they can maintain their 100% scoring record on the road, then they will have a good chance of taking something from this game.
Everton have scored in all of their home games but have only scored more than once on a single occasion - a statistic that mirrors West Ham`s goal trend on the road.
With all that in mind, the 1-1 draw looks like a tempting bet at a price of 13/2.
