Relegation-threatened Udniese face the difficult task of hosting second-ranked Napoli at Stadio Communale Friuli in Serie A this weekend.
One win in 12 for Udinese
A run of 12 games including one win, four draws and seven defeats has left Udinese perilously close to the Serie A drop zone with just eight games left to play. Things will not get any easier this weekend as Napoli are the visitors to Udine.
In their last match, the Bianconeri Friuliani held Sassoulo to a 1-1 draw away from home. Prior to that, they were beaten 2-1 at home by third-ranked Roma. On home soil, their only victory in the last five games came against bottom-ranked Hellas Verona.
Napoli still in title race
With eight games left to play in Serie A, Napoli are still in contention for the title. The Naples club are just three point behind leaders Juventus and will be looking for a win to keep the pressure on their rivals from Turin.
The Partenopei have lost just three games all season, all of which came away from home. Their last defeat came at the hands of Juventus back in February. Since then, they have drawn two and won three games, including a 3-1 win over Genoa last time out.
Gonzalo Higuain remains Serie A`s leading scorer with a total of 29 league goals.

The home side will be without the injured duo of Guilherme and Alexander Merkel.
