Manchester United vs Swansea City - Premier League preview and odds
April 30, 2017 12:00pm - Old Trafford
Premier League
Manchester United will look to break into the top four when they host Relegation battlers Swansea City to Old Trafford on Sunday lunchtime.
Race for top four enters home straight
Having spent most of the season camped in sixth position in the table, Manchester United are now making a late push for a Champions League place. The Red Devils earned a point away to rivals Manchester City on Thursday night and can leapfrog both them and Liverpool (on a temporary basis at least) with a win over their lowly opponents on Sunday afternoon.
Jose Mourinho`s men are unbeaten in 24 league matches, although 11 of those games ended as draws. Another draw this weekend would mean that their top-four destiny would no longer rest in their own hands.
Meanwhile, Swansea City could give their survival hopes a massive boost with a win at Old Trafford this weekend. Paul Clement`s men broke a six-game winless run with victory over Stoke City last time out and remain just three points from safety with a game in hand over 17th-ranked Hull City. The Swans have lost their last six away matches in a row and failed to score in any of the last three.
Team news
Paul Pogba (muscular), Marcos Rojo (ACL), Zlatan Ibrahimovic (combined ACL and PCL ruptura), Juan Mata (groin surgery), Phil Jones (foot) and Chris Smalling (knee) are all expected to miss out for the home side.
Meanwhile, the visitors will have to make do without the services of Wayne Routledge (sports hernia), Angel Rangel (metatarsal fracture) and Nathan Dyer (achillies), while Martin Olsson (hamstring strain), Leroy Fer (dead leg) and Jack Cork (ankle) remain doubtful.

Betting odds and tips
United will be expected to extend their unbeaten run against a team that have lost their last six away matches in a row. The Welsh club have conceded at least once in each of their last 16 away matches and it will take a dramatic turnaround in fortunes for them to take anything from this game.
