Arsenal vs Brighton and Hove Albion - Premier League Preview and Odds
Sunday 01 October, 2017 12:00pm - Emirates Stadium
Premier League
After a poor start to the season that prompted fresh call for the managers head, Arsenal seem to have got themselves back on track with a six-game unbeaten run in all competitions featuring five wins and a draw. Next up is a home clash against one of the league`s newly-promoted sides, Brighton and Hove Albion.
Despite their improvement, the Gunners are still sat in a lowly seventh place in the Premier League table but they are top of their Europa League group thanks to a pair of wins including a 4-2 midweek triumph away to BATE. Prior to that, they beat West Brom 2-0 and bagged an important point away to Chelsea following a goalless draw.
It was the Chelsea result that seemed to suggest that Arsenen Wenger`s men had finally got their act together and they will now be looking to extend their unbeaten run in a game that they will be expected to win.
The North London side`s upward trajectory could spell trouble for Brighton and Hove Albion who will arrive in London without suspended forward Tomer Hemed, while fellow strikers Sam Baldock and Glenn Murray are both carrying injuries. Murray resumed training this week but might not be ready to step back into the fold.
With their front line depleted, the Seagulls might find it tough going and anything other than a defeat here will be a good result. With no midweek game to distract them, they may be feeling slightly fresher than the home side but they will need every advantage they can gain to get on over on the Gunners.

Betting odds and tips
With Brighton lacking firepower up front, the Win to Nil could come into play here. But don`t expect a big scoreline, the South Coast side have not conceded more than two goals in any of their last 15 away games.
You can back Arsenal to Win to nil at 10/11 or a Correct Score of 2-0 at 11/2 - both with Bet365.
