Premier League preview and odds: Manchester United vs Swansea City
January 2, 2015 15:00pm - Old Trafford
Premier League
Manchester United will try to put the brakes on a winless run of six games on Saturday when they host a Swansea side who are unbeaten in three Premier League games under caretaker boss Alan Curtis.
United looking for positives after draw
Tensions at Old Trafford were eased slightly on Monday night when Manchester United played out a 0-0 draw against strugglers Chelsea to end a run of three straight defeats. It was not a great display from Louis van Gaal`s men but there were enough signs of improvement to relieve some of the pressure from the beleaguered bosss shoulders.
The Red Devils can mow look forward to another game on home soil against a team just one point behind Chelsea in the table.
Swans going steady under Curtis
Swansea have not been beaten or conceded a goal in their last three games under Caretaker boss Alan Curtis. However, the Welsh side have only scored one goal of their own during that same spell.
In their last game, they came away from Selhurst Park with a well-earned point after holding fifth-ranked Swansea to a 0-0 draw. If they can equal or better that feat on Saturday, it would round off a decent holiday period for the relegation-threatened Swans.
Team news
Jesse Lingard, Marcus Rojo, Antonio Valencia and Luke Shaw are all still missing for United.
Meanwhile, Swansea are still without the services of injured pair Franck Tabanou and Eder, but Fredrico Fernandez and Wayne Routledge are expected to recover in time.

Betting odds and tips
Monday`s draw may have papered over some of the cracks for United, but they are still without a win in their last three home games. In addition, three of their last five games at Old Trafford have ended in 0-0 draws.
Swansea have scored just one goal on their last four away trips and can be expected to adopt a safety-first approach again on Saturday.
A correct score of 0-0 can be backed at 17/2 with Bet365.
