West Bromwich Albion bagged their first win in five Premier League starts on Monday and must now face in form Stoke City at the Hawthorns in their first game of 2016.
A much-needed win for the Baggies
West Brom secured all three points in a Premier League match for the first time since late November with a narrow win over struggling Newcastle on Monday. Prior to that win, the Baggies were in danger of getting dragged into a relegation scrap but have now climbed backed up to 13th place, six points clear of the first danger spot.
Tony Puliss team have found goals hard to come by this term with only Swansea and Aston Villa below them in the goal scoring table.
Stoke in top ten push
With just two defeats in their last nine matches, Stoke City have forced their way into the top ten of the Premier League, and are now just two points behind fifth place Crystal Palace.
On Bank Holiday Monday, they secured their second win in three days by winning a seven-goal thriller away to Everton. With the scores level at 3-3, Mark Hughes men were awarded a controversial penalty in injury time which was converted by Marco Arnautovic. That result means that the Potters have lost just once in their last seven games on the road, having won four and drawn the other two.

West Brom are without the injured trio of Jonas Olsson, Victor Anichebe and Ben Foster.
Meanwhile, the visitors will continue without Marc Muniesa, Shay Given, Peter Crouch and Stephen Ireland.
