Manchester United`s form since the arrival of caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solksjaer has revived their top-four ambitions. Can they make it three festive wins in a row when they host an AFC Bournemouth side who kick off in 12th place after three defeats in their last four matches?

You could almost sense the gloom lifting from Old Trafford as Jose Mourinho`s tenure was finally brought to an end following the defeat to Liverpool before Christmas. That gloom has since be replaced with a new-found optimism following back-to-back wins in which the team have shown a more expressive side. Fans will hope their `new manager bounce` will continue against Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon.

The Red Devils have only lost one Premier League home match this season (a 0-3 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur) and have scored nine in their last three matches at Old Trafford. They have only lost once in seven previous meetings against their opponents and have won their last three meetings.

AFC Bournemouth have endured a poor spell of form losing seven of their last nine league matches. However, they remain 12 points clear of the drop zone thanks to their strong early season form. Away from home they have lost their last four, conceding 12 goals while scoring just two.

Eddie Howe`s men have never won at Old Trafford although they did manage a 1-1 draw back in 2017. They come into this game on the back of a 5-0 Boxing Day drubbing at the hands of Spurs.
